Epsilon Lambda Chapter

On March 23rd, 1934, Dean Rockwell founded the Lambda chapter of Phi Sigma Epsilon at Eastern Michigan University. The chapter has been in continuous existence since chartering and was given the designation of Epsilon Lambda when Phi Sigma Kappa and Phi Sigma Epsilon merged in 1985.

Phi Sigma Kappa also existed on Eastern Michigan's campus before the merger. Chi Pentaton was founded in 1967, it is believed brothers Esto, Garpo, and Harpo were the founding fathers. The chapter closed in 1977 and much of its history has been lost.
